Castle Neumann Update
Dear 4Past Community,
After weeks of development and improvements, we are pleased to introduce Patch 1.2. This update brings new content, gameplay improvements, system upgrades, and numerous bug fixes. It also introduces the Leveling Expansion: Castle Neumann, marking the beginning of a larger rework of the game.
Leveling Expansion – Castle Neumann
- New level cap: 80.
- Castle Neumann unlocked as a new high-level area.
- New map added: Ruins of Castle Neumann.
- Accessible from the Capital portal starting at Level 78.
- Experience progression updated:
- Players can now level up to 78 in Rayfort.
- Level 78+ progression continues in Castle Neumann.
- New quests related to the leveling expansion added.
- New houses (Tents) introduced in Castle Neumann.
- Initial stock: 114 Tents.
- Additional tent area unlocks once the initial stock sells out.
General Changes & New Features
- Territory War map rotation implemented.
- Weekly rotation starts Monday with North, followed by South.
- Territory areas now reset to Neutral every night.
- Neutral territories cannot be teleported to.
New Gameplay Features
- Trade History system added.
- Match / Battle History system added.
- Both features accessible through the character menu (name icon).
Weapon Statistic Tracking
- New Statistic Tracking System introduced.
- Players can purchase a Statistic Tracker item.
- How to apply:
- Place the weapon in the left slot.
- Place the tracker in the blacksmith scroll slot (right slot).
Other Changes
- Tournament requirements updated:
- Minimum level: 78.
- Honor requirement removed.
- Pre-PvP weapons can no longer be sold using “Sell Trash”.
- All Castle Stones are now craftable at Tyconteronga Castle.
- Thug Life Sunglasses effect can now be applied.
Territory War & Castle War
- Multiple Castle War system fixes implemented.
- Currently only Tyconteronga Castle is active.
- Additional castle rotations will be introduced in future updates.
System Improvements
Engine & Performance
- DX12 Backend added (engine mitigation).
- Improved FPS performance, especially on laptops and older hardware.
- New Instance Rendering setting added.
- Recommended OFF for older machines and laptops.
Gameplay Systems
- Instant Logout / Exit Game added in capitals and trade zones.
- Added notification message when exiting the game.
- Removed requirement for Unseal Formula when collecting all messages and opening all chests.
Graphics Update
- Major texture reworks across multiple areas.
- Numerous environment objects updated or replaced.
- Dynamic terrain lighting added affecting terrain and mountains.
- Visual improvements noticeable when shadows are enabled.
- Additional high-quality textures available on High Texture settings.
User Interface Updates
- New Guild Cloak Registration UI added.
- Removed incorrect options such as “Trash Runes” and “Open All”.
- Statistic Preview Button added to Upgrade Frame.
- Fixed Close Button functionality in Statistic Window.
- Fixed Character UI issues in certain battlemodes.
Content Additions
- New costumes, cloaks, mounts, and effects added.
- New loading screens added.
- New portal images added.
- New game icon added for taskbar and game folder.
Bug Fixes
Gameplay
- Fixed Warrior shield and Defensive Stance issues.
- Fixed Warrior stance occasionally missing after teleport.
- Fixed random dismount bug when ABBing.
- Fixed tournament seal incorrectly being taken.
- Fixed gold loss when tournament registration failed.
- Fixed ranking issues when transferring for Territory War.
System & Network
- Fixed registration failures caused by PingZapper / ExitLag.
- System now logs HWID instead of IP.
- Server lag and performance issues fixed.
UI & Other Fixes
- Fixed Premium Remote Shop visual bug.
- Fixed Auto-Deposit and Auto-Equip related issues.
- Fixed multiple item deletion and rollback issues affecting players in recent weeks.
